On November 17, 2018, the cross country Meet Of Champions was held in Holmdel Park, NJ. The Meet Of Champions is the state championship for top cross country runners in the state; to qualify, you must place in the top 10 runners in your sectional group.

PPBHS senior Devin Hart placed first with a time of 15:36 out of 183 runners. This is Devin’s second year in a row winning this race and he is only the 7th athlete in New Jersey to win two years in a row. Junior Molly Kate Sabia finished in 28th out of 170 runners, with a time of 19:33, which is her personal best.

In an interview, Devin Hart said that he looks forward to competing in the Footlocker National Championship, and the Nike National Championship. Molly Kate Sabia said she is looking to improve her times throughout the swim season.
