Homecoming is a great event hosted by Point Pleasant Boro High school. It will take place the week of October 21-25th and on Friday at 7 pm the football team will host Lacey Township for the annual homecoming game. Below are some events hosted throughout the week: 

• The homecoming dance is October 24th and will be located in the High School gym. It will start at 6:30 pm and go on until 9:30 pm. The dance is a highly recommended school event, but it is totally optional. The dance is a great way to get together with your friends, eat some delicious food, and dress up to have a good time. There will even be a DJ that will play music to get everyone dancing!
• To get the school in spirit, all classes will decorate hallways throughout the school with school spirit. When it is time for the Homecoming game on Friday all classes will move their hallway decor to the parked buses lined up outside by the track. This will all take place after school and volunteers are highly appreciated and will get community hours that will look great towards any transcript. 
• Each grade has their own class advisor to discuss and come up with ideas on how they will decorate their hallway and bus. Freshman: Mrs. Jensen, Sophomores: Mrs. Davis, Juniors: Mrs. Mitreuter, and Seniors: Mrs. Grainer.
• During the last block of Friday’s school day the PPBHS Marching Band will play through out the hallways for all the classes to come out and cheer! And don’t forget to wear pink to the game on Friday if you are standing the student section to honor Breast Cancer Awareness month. 
• There will be a huge bonfire prior to the game located on the JV baseball field, accompanied by the band playing music and the cheerleaders dancing along. Homecoming  is a great way to catch up with friends and listen to the amazing school performances. Go Panthers!
• The homecoming court will walk at halftime and the queen and king will then be revealed then as well. The recipients will receive flowers, a sash, and of course a crown. 
• During spirit week each day will be themed:
  • Monday (10/21) – Merica Monday, USA theme.
  • Tuesday (10/22) – Sports jersey.
  • Wednesday (10/23) – Tie dye.
  • Thursday (10/24) – Pink.
  • Friday (10/25) – Black and Gold.
