The online version of the school newspaper, The Point Press, was founded in 2018 by the Journalism Course staff and advisers in an effort to provide students, staff, parents and community members with an accessible and consistent online news source of Point Pleasant Boro High School. The staff will update content and photography on a biweekly basis, publishing every other Friday.

The Point Press has a staff comprised of ten Journalism Course students led by advisers Mrs. Jensen and Mrs. Manser. In addition, any PPBHS student may join the extra-curricular Newspaper Club which meets one to two times a month to write content, take photographs, and discuss upcoming issues.

The Point Press welcomes submissions of signed editorials from members of the Point Pleasant school community. However, the final decision regarding publishing of such editorials is reserved for the Editorial Board which consists of the Editor-in-Chief, Assistant Editor as well as both advisers.

Letters to the Editor may be submitted here or via e-mail to [email protected]. Please note, The Point Press reserves the right to edit letters and opinion submissions (with author input). In addition, all submissions become the property of The Point Press. Anonymous submissions will not be accepted for publication.

The Point Press website header was developed and created by Mrs. Mitreuter and her Digital Art students in 2018.
