The 2023 wrestling season has recently come to an end on a great note with a final record of  15-2. There were two seniors, and two sophomores that made it to the big Atlantic City tournament for states: Jack Thompson, Nate Fletcher, Frankie Burgio, and Joey DeAngelo. 

Our state qualifier, Jack Thompson, gave us his opinion on his final season as a senior: “Off season wrestlers, especially summer wrestlers, make winner champions. If we have a tougher schedule to wrestle, we’d be ready for tougher schools that are brought upon us.”

He believes it’s a bittersweet ending to his wrestling career, but he can’t wait to see how the program does in the future. Everyone’s excited to see what he does in his next chapter of life.
