Live Music Coming to NJ this Summer

As summer rolls around again, New Jersey residents may be looking for something to do that’s not the beach or boardwalk. Luckily for fans of live music, there are quite a few music shows and festivals coming right to NJ this year, and there’s something for everyone.

  • May 5-7: Bamboozle Festival

Bamboozle Festival has something for everyone with its wide and pretty random lineups. There’s Limp Bizkit and Papa Roach for fans of rock and metal, Trippie Redd and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie for rap fans, Flyleaf and Finch for the emos, and many, many others. For those looking to enjoy all types of music, Bamboozle will be held in Atlantic City this May.

  • May 27 & 28: Adjacent Festival

One of the largest music attractions coming to NJ this summer, Adjacent is headlined by titans Paramore and Blink-182, though the entire lineup is jam-packed with fantastic bands. The festival will be held in Atlantic City on Memorial Day Weekend, so make sure to secure your tickets soon to experience this awesome event.

  • June 14-18: Barefoot Country Music Festival

Fans of country music might want to head for Wildwood this June for this “honkey-tonk paradise on the beach.” The Barefoot Country Music Festival is headlined by Blake Shelton, along with Kid Rock, Darius Rucker, and John Pardi.

  • July 14: Sad Summer Festival

This festival is great for former emo kids who miss Warped Tour–though it’s not as big, Sad Summer Festival is headlined by the legendary Taking Back Sunday, also with appearances from newer-wave emo bands such as Hot Mulligan and Mom Jeans. Sad Summer passes through NJ at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel.

  • August 11-13: TidalWave Music Festival

Another event for country fans to look forward to, TidalWave will be held this August in Atlantic City, headlined by Thoman Rhett and Jason Aldean.

  • September 16 & 17: Sea.Hear.Now

Coming to Asbury Park for its sixth annual show, Sea.Hear.Now will be headlined by The Killers and Foo Fighters, also with appearances from Weezer, Greta Van Fleet, The Beach Boys, and more. This massive and iconic festival is a great way to end your summer with a bang.
