Hey seniors! Our final school year together is filled with many important dates. We know you might be feeling overwhelmed with college applications, class schedules, and extracurricular involvements, so The Senior’s Corner will be a page written by your class president to ensure you stay up-to-date on all of the important deadlines and dates of senior year. Make sure to check The Point Press at the beginning of each month to see what’s going on with the class of 2024!
Please make sure to join our class of 2024 Google classroom for constant updates with the code nem4xgq. If you have any other issues contact Mrs. Grainer @ [email protected].
Homecoming was a success! Our football team was victorious over Matawan in a dominant 42-7 victory. At halftime, we had our senior Homecoming court walk out. On the King’s Court was Ryan Aquisto, Timmy Stamm, Jared Drewes, Colby Johnston, and Brady Durkac. On the Queen’s Court was Paige Cannon, Lindsey Ludwig, Adelaide Videon-Perino, Gabby Greffen, and Mary Cook. Congratulations to Jared Drewes and Lindsey Ludwig on being crowned Homecoming King and Queen!
We have a Woodchucks give back night on November 15th. A portion of the sales goes to the senior class. Make sure to mention our class or the fundraiser while placing your orders!
Powderpuff is approaching! In order to play, two out of the three practice dates are mandatory! They are, November 15th, November 16th, and November 20th. The game will take place on Tuesday, November 21st at Al Saner Field. The senior class will make profit off of the ticket sales at the game. Admission fee is $5 for adults and $2 for children ages 5 and under. Come support the senior class as they go for their second straight victory!
Project Graduation is a volunteer group of parents, staff, and community members with the goal of organizing Grad Night – an all-night event created to promote a safe, supervised, alcohol and drug-free evening for graduating seniors. To raise the much needed funds for the 35th Annual Project Graduation Party we are selling Christmas Greenery including roping, wreathes, poinsettias and door swags. The Senior who sells the most wins a free Senior Ball bid! The last day to order is Monday, November 20th, 2023. Pickup will be Friday, Dec 1st, 2023 – 5:00-8:00 PM, in the high school cafeteria.
Many seniors have been accepted into colleges. If you are one of them, feel free to submit your acceptance to your guidance counselor to get your banner hung in the hallway!
As always, make sure to check Google classroom for any updates or reach out to Mrs. Grainer with any questions or ideas.
