Hey seniors! Our final school year together is filled with many important dates. We know you might be feeling overwhelmed with college applications, class schedules, and extracurricular involvements, so The Senior’s Corner will be a page written by your class president to ensure you stay up-to-date on all of the important deadlines and dates of senior year. Make sure to check The Point Press at the beginning of each month to see what’s going on with the class of 2024!
Please make sure to join our class of 2024 Google classroom for constant updates with the code nem4xgq. If you have any other issues contact Mrs. Grainer @ [email protected].
Seniors, make sure you are aware of college deadlines! Regular decision deadlines are usually early to mid January. Reach out to your guidance counselors for assistance and get those applications in! If you have already been accepted into college, feel free to submit your acceptance to your guidance counselor to get your banner hung in the hallway!
January 10th will be our Chick-Fil-A fundraiser! Support the class of 2024 and go to Chick-Fil-A January 10th; processed from the entire day will go to our class. Please make sure to mention the fundraiser when you make your purchase!
Midterms are coming up! They will be the week of January 22nd, and go for four days. On Monday the 22nd, you will report to your first period class in the AM and eighth period class in the PM. On Tuesday the 23rd, you will report to your second period class in the AM and seventh period class in the PM. On Wednesday the 24th, you will report to your third period class in the AM and sixth period class in the PM. On Thursday the 25th, you will report to your fourth period class in the AM and fifth period class in the PM. Remember to show up for gym as it is required for all students to be present. As daunting as they might seem, remember you will do fine! This is the last week of midterms for our senior class; let’s end strong.
Many winter sports seasons are well underway. Most teams are currently competing in the Shore Conference section of their season. Make sure to show up for our seniors as they play their final home games/matches/meets in future weeks.
The senior class was thinking of a half apps fundraiser later in the school year, most likely around mid March. Friend groups will be able to go dine together at Applebee’s, with 10% of the proceeded going back to the senior class.
We are looking to host senior events that will allow our class to be together before we graduate, so please reach out to Adelaide (senior class president) at @[email protected] or Mrs. Grainer if you have other suggestions, and be on the lookout for more information regarding that event in the following weeks!
As always, make sure to check Google classroom for any updates or reach out to Mrs. Grainer with any questions or ideas.
