Hey seniors! Our final school year together is filled with many important dates. We know you might be feeling overwhelmed with college applications, class schedules, and extracurricular involvements, so The Senior’s Corner will be a page written by your class president to ensure you stay up-to-date on all of the important deadlines and dates of senior year. Make sure to check The Point Press at the beginning of each month to see what’s going on with the class of 2024!
Please make sure to join our class of 2024 Google classroom for constant updates with the code nem4xgq. If you have any other issues contact Mrs. Grainer @ [email protected].
Seniors, make sure you are aware of college deadlines! Some colleges are still accepting applications through rolling admissions. Reach out to your guidance counselors for assistance and get those applications in! If you have already been accepted into college, feel free to submit your acceptance to your guidance counselor to get your banner hung in the hallway!
Many winter sports seasons are well underway. Most teams are currently competing in the State Sectional portion of their season. Make sure to show up for our seniors as they play their final home games/matches/meets in future weeks.
With that being said, spring seasons are starting soon. Please make sure to get on Family ID and join any Google classrooms for spring sports. You cannot compete until you are registered on Family ID!! Good luck to all!
The senior class will be a half apps fundraiser on March 11th. Friend groups will be able to go dine together at Applebees, with 10% of the proceeds going back to the senior class. We are looking to host senior events that will allow our class to be together before we graduate, so please reach out to Adelaide (senior class president) at @[email protected] or Mrs. Grainer if you have other suggestions, and be on the lookout for more information regarding that event in the following weeks!
Our final bout of Penny Wars is coming up! Help the senior class win free pizza from Oakwoods by putting loose change in our jar! We are hoping to get senior volunteers to carry around the Festivities begin early March. Be on the lookout for the senior class bin!!
The class officers are looking into ball themes! Please reach out with any ideas for props, tables, color schemes, or any other ideas. We will be looking to sell bids towards the end of April.
As always, make sure to check Google classroom for any updates or reach out to Mrs. Grainer with any questions or ideas.
