On February 10th, 2024 while on the way to the Super Bowl LVIII a helicopter crash unfolded carrying a CEO Nigerian banker among five others. The group was traveling from California and crashed into the Mojave Desert before making it to their destination.
The helicopter crashed 60 miles out from Las Vegas. Unfortunately, the crash was fatal and there were no found survivors. The passing of Herbert Wigwe has taken a toll on the Nigerian and African banking industry because of his involvement and strength he provided to the workers among him.
Currently, there is a conspiracy surrounding this topic. Of the six on board, was a Chief Executive of Access Bank, and his wife and his son, and the former chairman of NGX, also known as the Nigerian Stock Exchange. Authorities say they are currently investigating the crime which leads some to assume foul play was involved. They say the entire investigation could take up to two years.
The Nigerian Stock Exchange is currently undergoing a fight with America; money, power, and greed. Taking out the owner and CEO of the largest bank, his wife, and his son, there would be no one left to get the money. Assuming this was “planned” and money was involved; the money could have been the motive to attack.
The next conspiracy is surrounding a post made to Joe Biden’s Presidential X account on the same day as the Super Bowl and the crash. At this moment the post is still up and kind of eerie. Biden published a post with red glowing eyes, with the caption “just like we drew it up” drawing speculation that somehow the government may be involved. However, theories also point to the post as a satire, mocking criticism that the NFL is “scripted”.
Being that there were issues related to the bank and that there is a large amount of money involved, it raises suspicion… coincidental? Truth? Whatever the cause is, it is really strange.
Overall, there’s always two sides to a story and in this case there are many different people wondering why information isn’t adding up or connecting. However, this tragic event has left many distraught and therefore we sympathize for the loved ones and people affected by it.
