The National Honor Society hosts a volleyball tournament every year. This year they raised $450. The tournament is a great way to bring students and teachers together for an after-school activity. It brings friendly competition to the community for a good cause.
This year there were many good teams. The math department even participated! Many National Honor Society members volunteered at this event as emcees, and referees, and helped organize brackets. The National Honor Society put much effort into making this tournament possible and running smoothly. Being a referee for the tournament takes a lot of bravery and courage considering players often try to argue and debate with you about calls. The National Honor Society should receive much credit for the hard work they put into this event.
The player should also receive credit. They played hard. Players were guaranteed three games before the actual bracket took place. First place won $20 gift cards and second palace $10 gift cards so there was a lot on the line. The math department fought hard but did not come out on top.
After much hard work and sweat, Fade 6 won the tournament. The National Honor Society filled the night with fun!
