The title is based on the 2004 film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, starring Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet. This album contains 13 tracks and two singles. Not only does this album contain pop, but many of her songs contain R&B. The album currently has 195 million streams in the U.S. alone. It’s also her sixth number-one on the Billboard 200.

Published in Rolling Stone, in a recent interview, she shared her feelings about the album: “I’m nervous, but I wanted to share this with you because it’s kind of a concept album.” Many shared that this is Ariana’s most emotional album, as it shares heartbreak, mental health, and her current relationship. With her new album and her upcoming movie adaptation of the musical Wicked, she is continuing her rise to fame.
