This year an incident took place backstage of Eurovision. Allegedly, the contestant, Joost Klein, was disqualified from Eurovision after an alarming altercation with a production crew member. 

Eurovision is an international song contest based in Europe for original song writers from each European country. It is broadcasted by the European Broadcasting Union or EBU.

Joost Klein was the Dutch contestant who was set on winning Eurovision for his parents who both died tragically. His father died of complications due to cancer when he was 12. His mother died a year later from cardiac arrest. After their tragic demise, he vowed to win Eurovision in their honor.

While not much is known about the disagreement itself, rumors have spread that he either punched a crew member or threatened and verbally harassed the production crew personnel. 

Joost Klein has yet to make a statement on the matter, and it is not known whether the affected crew member will press charges, so not much is known about what truly went down.

 It might take a while to find out what actually happened so until then, all is left up to speculation.
