Every year, the Be On Point Committee puts on a fall pep rally. However, this year was a little different… they gave us one for the springtime as well! It was an afternoon filled with fun and school spirit and who doesn’t love that?
Events like these bring the whole school together and highlight the importance of Panther Pride. Having the whole school in one place at the same time is not something that happens very often. There were fun games such as hungry hungry humans, relay races, handstand competitions, and my personal favorite – a worm competition where the seniors took the win.
Additionally, the week leading up to the pep rally was spirit week. There was a different theme every day: Monday was Club Pride Day, where everyone wore green to show how lucky our school is to have many club opportunities. Tuesday was Athletic Pride Day, where everyone wore Panther athletic gear or workout attire. Wednesday was Performing Arts Pride Day, where students and teachers dressed to impress! Thursday was Academic Pride Day, where you have to dress up representing a school subject. And finally, on Friday, Class Pride Day, where each class wore their grade’s color: the freshmen gray, sophomores yellow or gold, juniors white, seniors black, and the staff in black and gold!
All of the hype leading up to the pep rally made the event even more enjoyable when the day finally came. Thank you to the Be On Point Committee and Student Council for planning these exciting and fun, community-building days!
