With June approaching and graduation near, it is time to highlight some of our Point Pleasant Boro students who will be playing sports in college. It is no surprise that over 20 students will be continuing on at the next level. The class of 2025 has been extremely successful as the statistics speak for themselves.
As a whole, they’ve won over 15 Division Titles, 10 State Sectional Titles, 3 Shore Conference Titles, and one State Title. In their senior year alone, the class of 2025 has won 4 State Sectional Titles in the fall season, followed by many division and county titles in winter and spring sports. This class transformed Boro sports and made Point Boro consistently one of the top programs in the state for almost every sport.
Not only are they high level athletes, but they are all even better humans and leaders! Point Boro is going to miss the Class of 2025!

We also asked a few seniors about their time at Point Boro. Here’s what they had to say:
Jordan Muraglia (Bucknell Track) – I’ll miss the team connection with the athletes and coaches the most. The bonds we have formed are so special. My favorite memories consist of our team winning all together. As much as it is amazing to win individually, it’s even more special to win as a team and have everyone celebrate alongside you. The biggest advice I have to younger classmen is to obviously enjoy every second but, more importantly, truly give it your all.
Ava Bjorndahl (Monmouth Soccer)- I will miss looking into the stands and seeing younger generations of soccer players in their jerseys with posters cheering us on. My favorite memory is winning sectionals against a cross town rival and everyone storming the field. My advice to younger players is to take advantage of any opportunity to play a sport no matter the level, because time flies and it will be over before you know it.
Camryn Johnson (Rutgers Field Hockey) – I am going to miss playing with some of my best friends, team bonding, and being coached by my mom and Coach Carr. During my time on the team we won multiple titles, but my favorite memory has to be when we won the Shore Conference Tournament for the first time since 1989. It was a surreal feeling and to finally beat Shore Regional after all these years felt amazing! I also am going to miss running track with a great group of girls and pushing my body every day to new limits. My advice to younger players is to embrace your journey, trust the process, and to enjoy every moment. It goes by fast and you will miss it all once it is over! Always put your best foot forward and you will end with no regrets. Point Boro Sports will always have a special place in my heart!
Molly Heras (University of New Haven Soccer)- What I’ll miss most about Point Boro sports is the high level of competition, it pushes you to work as hard as you can because every spot is earned. At the same time, there’s so much support from teammates, coaches, and the community – everyone wants to see you succeed. One of my favorite memories is beating Wall to then go onto win the State Final my senior year. We worked so hard for it and it was an unforgettable way to finish. My advice to younger players is to work hard even when no one is watching. Effort and hustle can make up for experience, and coaches notice those who work hard. Being part of this program has made me a better player and person, and I’ll always be proud to have worn the jersey.
Brady Kirk (Marist Lacrosse)- Point Boro sports are special, as you are playing with people who you have grown up with. The community is very tight, and everyone supports one another. I have two favorite memories. First was being able to play lacrosse with my older brother Aidan when he was a senior and I was a freshman; this was awesome for my family. Second was going to Camden and beating them in football, and earning the South Jersey Group 2 Sectional title in football. My advice to younger players is to enjoy the time you have, as it goes by fast. The long practices may feel like forever, but when it’s all said and done, you will miss it so much. Make sure to work hard and everything will fall into place.
Abby Hanneman (West Chester Soccer/Track)- I will miss all the girls that became my bestfriends on the soccer and track teams. I have made so many big and little sisters over the past four years and I would not trade anything for all the memories made. My favorite memory would be winning Sectionals with the track team my sophomore year and winning States with my soccer team senior year. Always remember somewhere behind the athlete you have become and the hours of practice and coaches that have pushed you is a little girl who feel in love with the game and never looked back.. Play for her!!!
Sabrina Davis (FDU Lacrosse) – Being on a Point Boro sports team doesn’t just mean commitment; it’s the friends and family you make along the way. I’ve played lacrosse for four years, and some of my favorite memories are the pasta parties and laughs on the bus. My advice to younger players is to just always be yourself and don’t be scared to try something new, because being a part of a Point Boro sports team was the best decision I’ve ever made.
Kate Henn (Susquehanna Basketball)- I will miss the once in a lifetime team chemistry I had with my basketball team this year. It was so obvious how much we all loved and trusted each other on and off the court. My favorite memory was probably forgetting my basketball shoes for our state game my freshman year and my mom had to go out and get me new ones. A piece of advice I would give to younger players is to remember to enjoy the game. Always remember why you started playing in the first place and have fun. Don’t lose sight of your joy and love for the game.
Paul Hagemeyer (Ithaca Football) – The number one thing I’ll miss is the team camaraderie and the group of people that came together to play football. I didn’t grow up playing AYF football, so my friends were not football players, like everyone else, but I was welcomed with open arms and it was just amazing to see different people from every different friend group and walk of life come together in pursuit of a common goal. My favorite memories are watching the sectional championship and winning at Camden, but the Willingboro game last year was my favorite to play in over my whole career. For advice, I would say to never take anything for granted. I got hurt my senior year, literally the nightmare scenario for every athlete, yet was still able to make the most out of what I had. Building on that, do what you can in whatever situation you may be in. Give your all in everything you do, and you will have nothing to regret.
Congratulations to all these seniors on a great high school career! Thank you for everything you have done. We look forward to watching you succeed in your future endeavors.
Once a Panther, always a Panther!
