The Point Pleasant Boro Panthers and the Shore Regional Blue Devils have adopted a strong rivalry between their field hockey programs. The outcomes go back and forth, with Point B
oro ultimately taking the last two big wins in the Shore Conference Tournament Final.

This year, the Panthers were ready to face their rivals yet again. They worked
hard to prepare and had a pretty strong schedule prior to the game. They felt ready.
On Saturday, October 11, 2025, the Point Boro Panthers took the trip up to Shore Regional. The game started
off hot right away with the two teams battling it out. With time expired in the first quarter, the Panthers earned an offensive penalty corner. Kylie Repasky inserted the ball to Haley Fox, who ripped a shot into the back of the cage, giving the Panthers a 1-0 lead going into the second quarter.
Point Boro continued to work hard, keeping the score 1-0 going int
o the second half of the game. They knew they had to have a 0-0 mentality and not let up.
Unfortunately, on a defensive penalty corner, the Blue Devils scored, making the game tied 1-1 with a quarter of play still left. There was plenty of time for the Panthers to regain their lead. They battled hard, but it just wasn’t enough to seal the deal.
The game went into overtime, where both teams played a ten-minute 7v7 game. The Blue Devils came out right away and got an offensive penalty corner. The Panther defense was on fire as usual and stopped the play, regaining possession. The fans were all screaming, and the players and coaches on the sideline were all locked in. With just over two minutes left in overtime, Shore Regional made a pass to the top of the circle, where a shot was taken and sent into the cage.
The Panthers did not let this game get to them, and they are ready to get back to work and finish out the regular season strongly. They look forward to hopefully seeing Shore Regional again in the Shore Conference Final, where they know they can take home their third title in a row.
