To kick off the start of the Halloween season, Point Pleasant now has a Spirit Halloween on Bridge Ave. This new opening happened in September 2025. They offer a wide range of Halloween costumes, accessories, makeup, and more. People love Spirit Halloween because of not only their wide selection of Halloween products, but this store always opens mysteriously in vacant stores. In this case, the Point Pleasant Spirit Halloween took over the Rite Aid that was once there.
Spirit Halloween´s prices range from $20 for simple costumes to hundreds of dollars for more elaborate costumes. The expected amount people usually spend there is around the $30-$50 range. If you are also looking for accessories, the prices will add up. There are often many discounts if you sign up for email alerts or check for promo codes before you go shopping.
Apparently, some locals are not too happy with this decision. Though it´s a very harmless holiday store, people have been complaining about the parking lot. Locals always seem to be talking about the terrible, crammed, annoying Dollar General and Rite Aid lot. With all of the new customers going to find their costumes, it will be a little more crammed than usual. Locals have been posting their opinions online in small groups. One comment says, “Actually, it would have been better to be at the old Stop and Shop location as opposed to the old Rite Aid in the Boro. Much better parking at the old Stop n Shop.” Someone replying to their comment said, “The parking lot at the Stop & Shop in Point Pleasant Borough is the worst parking lot ever! The absolute worst!” The parking lot seems to be the big issue here for the locals.
Point Pleasant Boro is ready for Halloween. This new store in town signals the anticipation of the spooky season being here. If you have not secured your costumes and accessories for this year and you want to visit the town’s new opening, go ahead to Bridge Ave before November 1, 2025.
