Last night on April 6th,the boys of the Point Pleasant Borough high school received their state rings. Their rings look amazing.

Before the guys were given their rings they called the cheerleaders to the floor to give them what they were told “small gifts” as a thank you for coming and cheering on every game. The girls’ jaws dropped when they opened their boxes. Their gifts turned out to be necklaces with the same pendant as the rings. 

When the boys got to the floor there were so many of them, all smiling ear to ear. They were handed their boxes one by one. As you looked from the audience you could feel their excitement radiating off of them. Repeatedly asking to see the ring they had been waiting for for so long. Once everyone got their ring Charlie Vitale made his last call, together they opened the boxes and their faces lit up.
