Our marching band has continued to perform well year after year and 2022 is no different. 

This year’s show is entitled Two by 2 and each song has something to do with the number two, as the show takes place in 2022.

The music in the show includes Mahler Symphony No. 2, “Song 2” by Blur, “Just the Two of Us” by Grover Washington Jr. & Bill Withers, and concludes with the dramatic ending of Mahler’s symphony. 

Our band performs weekly on Friday nights at football games and Saturdays at band competitions against other local schools.

We have performed at competitions at Brick Township, Manchester, Southern Regional, Brick Memorial, Sayreville, Jackson Liberty, Toms River North, and Toms River East.

The PPBHS Marching Band’s final competition was at Hershey Park last Saturday, November 6th. The band finished the season with a score of 87. 

Although it is hard to believe, the 2022 season has already come to a close. The band members, and the entire Point Pleasant Boro school community, are all so proud of all the hard work they have put into the show.
