The Comeback of Taylor Swift

Record-Breaking+Record

For years, Taylor Swift has dominated the pop charts and broken records with her new releases time after time. Swift isn’t new to making breakthroughs as an artist – her attempt to rerecord and release her old music has been an incredible feat that no other artist has attempted before. Knowing the influence she has in the pop world, It’s no surprise to hear that she has yet again broken records with the release of her newest album, Midnights, which released on October 21, 2022.

With the sudden announcement of Midnights during her acceptance speech at the 2022 MTV Music Awards, people were excited for a new era of music from the artist. However, nobody knew just how impactful the album would be.

On October 31, 2022, Swift beat the previous record of most songs on the Billboard Top 10, taking up the entire chart for the month of October.

But this isn’t all Swift has done in the past month – shortly after the release of the album, she announced that she will be going on a U.S. tour at the beginning of 2023. The tour is titled the Eras tour, and will include songs from every “era” of her music. This will be her first tour since her 2018 Lovers tour. Fans are ecstatic to experience the eras of Taylor Swift first-hand this upcoming spring. Once again, Taylor has proved herself to be the queen of pop.
