Point Pleasant is known for being a beach town famous for its Jenkinson’s boardwalk. The beautiful town that homes the boardwalk consists of a bubbling community filled with smiling faces. There are many things to enjoy at this destination while vacationing, exploring, or simply just appreciating. You can stop by the aquarium to see local marine life. The aquarium helps rehabilitate and care for animals that wouldn’t be able to survive on their own out in the wild.

The rides are another fun aspect about the boardwalk. They are thrilling for not only kids but adults too. The boardwalk is the perfect summer family experience.

Besides the boardwalk everyone knows the true attraction is the dazzling beach. During the day it’s a comfortable place to relax and cool off from the hot Jersey sun. You can enjoy the calm blue waves or get your sweat on with an intense game of beach volleyball. Though the fireworks can be scary for young children and may be damaging to ears if ear protection is not worn (noise pollution is real) it is still a wonderful experience for families all around. You’ll see a ray of bright blues, oranges and reds, that shouts Point Pleasant beach pride as the sun sets.
