Both boys and girls Point Boro Lacrosse teams have been off to a great start this season. With games starting on April 3rd, both teams have already proven their talent in games against various teams in the B-South division. As the seasons progress, the teams are projected to improve these records and are hopeful that they will move on to bigger games.

Led by Pat Brady, the boys currently have a record of 5-1. With victories over Long Branch, Marlboro, Donovan Catholic, and Lacey things are looking good for them. They will be competing against Jackson Liberty this Thursday and have an upcoming game Saturday the 22nd against Middle Township. Sophomore Brady Kirk holds the teams highest number of goals for this season so far with 19 goals. He is a key player on the team, also leading with 37 points total, as of now.

In addition, Point Boro Girls Lacrosse holds a 4-2 record. They claimed their fourth win against Jackson Liberty just this week on the 17th. This bumped them up in the rankings as they now stand as the number two team in B-South. Junior Juliette Ryan is currently leading the team with 12 goals while Kayden Cilento carries with 18 points so far.

It’s clear to see that Point Boro is taking off this spring and the lacrosse teams have contributed greatly to the success. As these teams continue to play out their season’s games, it will be exciting to see their victories and cheer them on as they move on.
