From now until the end of the school year, The Point Press would like to highlight our Senior Class of 2026. Focusing on multiple seniors each week, in no specific order!
Each senior was asked to provide a photo, explain their future plans, identify their favorite high school memory, give a shout-out to someone they will miss, and provide us with a quote or advice as their famous last words.

Teagan Burke- Public Relations
Post High School Plans- I plan on attending a university in the fall and majoring in psychology. I’m not sure what direct path I will take; however, I hope I’m lucky enough to make people’s lives better with whatever occupation I choose. I plan to stay close to the shore and close to my family since the beach is my whole life, and I can’t live without it. My main goal is to stay consistent with running, and I hope to run multiple marathons in my future.
Favorite High School Memory- My favorite high school memory is the last day of my junior year. My friends and I all piled up into two cars and went out to lunch together. We drove with all the windows down and with the music blasting and everyone singing along. This small moment is one of my favorite memories because we were all together. Graduation didn’t feel so soon, and we knew there were so many moments and fun events ahead of us to look forward to.
Shout Out to Someone You Will Miss- One thing I will miss the most is the girls I run with. Track/cross country has been a big part of my high school years, and to think I only have one season left with them breaks my heart. Through every bad day, every hard workout, and any time I needed someone, they were always there, and for that, I will always cherish them and hold them in my heart.
Famous Last Words- One piece of advice I can give is “if you can’t laugh at yourself, somebody else will.” It’s something my mom always said to me growing up, and something I value and practice in my everyday life. It reminds me that life doesn’t need to be taken so seriously, always try something new, and push yourself out of your comfort zone. In life, you’re meant to make mistakes, fall down, and get back up. So what if you embarrass yourself? Just laugh it off!
