From now until the end of the school year, The Point Press would like to highlight our Senior Class of 2026. Focusing on multiple seniors each week, in no specific order!
Each senior was asked to explain their future plans, identify their favorite high school memory, give a shout-out to someone they will miss, and provide us with a quote or advice as their famous last words.
Lauren Yacullo

Post High School Plans- I plan to attend Monmouth University, major in nursing, and pursue a BSN.
Favorite High School Memory- My favorite high school memory was watching the sunrise with my friends at Senior Sunrise and then going out to breakfast after, as well as having so many opportunities during my senior year.
Shout Out to Someone You Will Miss- I will miss Mrs. Kasyan because she taught in such a great way, and I always learned a lot in her class while still having fun!
Famous Last Words- Enjoy it while it lasts, don’t take everything too seriously, and never forget the memories you make along the way.

Post High School Plans- Attend college and major in engineering
Favorite High School Memory- Winning the football championship with all my teammates.
Shout Out to Someone You Will Miss- I will miss my football and Wrestling coaches
Famous Last Words- In three years, you won’t remember the test you failed, but you’ll remember the people you sat with at lunch. Prioritize accordingly.

Favorite High School Memory- Going on snowboarding trips to Vermont.
Shout Out to Someone You Will Miss- I am going to miss Miss Padula the most because she has helped me through everything in high school. From the first time I spoke to her, I knew that I could come to her for anything.

Catherine Halm

Post High School Plans- Get my B.Arch (Bachelors in Architecture) degree as well as my M.Arch (Masters in architecture) in a six-year process.
Favorite High School Memory- My favorite high school memory would be cheering on the sidelines at the football games, it is a feeling unlike any other!
Shout Out to Someone You Will Miss- I will miss Mr. Kearns and stagecraft, it was a class I took all four years and allowed me to be part of the production when I was unable to have the time to devote outside of school! I learned a lot from Mr. Kearns over the years, and I’m proud to be able to take that with me!
Famous Last Words- My greatest advice would be not to put anything off. If you think you might be interested in something, such as a club, sport, or musical, do it – chances are you will not regret it!
Brenna Gahagan

Post High School Plans- To attend a 4 year college and find what I’m passionate about.
Favorite High School Memory- My favorite memories are Junior Prom and all the track meets I ran in!
Shout Out to Someone You Will Miss- I’m really going to miss Mrs. Stabile, Dr. C, and Mr. Speiser so much. I’m also really going to miss all of my friends and my siblings a lot.
Famous Last Words- High school goes by really quick, enjoy the time you have with your friends!

Post High School Plans- Acting for film and television/ Traveling all through out the universe as a space pirate collecting keys of old heroes to get the ultimate treasure
Favorite High School Memory- Performing in Puffs and Beetlejuice

Post High School Plans- Coach sports and be a gym teacher
Favorite High School Memory- Playing sports with my friends

Miles O’Keeffe

Post High School Plans- Go to OCC, play football for a JUCO program or Voleyball for OCC. I’d study Accounting or Finance and then after OCC, I’ll see where the wind takes me.
Favorite High School Memory- Being able to participate in the pep rally as a freshman, going against Joey Mazzaro in a whipped cream pie eating contest where you had to find a piece of bubble gum and blow it to win, hearing everybody chant my name was awesome, but the bubble gum was WAY too small to blow a bubble so they just gave the win to the seniors.
Shout Out to Someone You Will Miss- Mr. Sis, Coach Ryan, Mrs. Puerto, Dr. J, and of course, Anthony Devlin.
Famous Last Words- “Never listen to negative things people say to you, just be yourself!”

Post High School Plans- Attend Mount Saint Mary’s University in Emmitsburg Maryland, majoring in Elementary Education and continuing to dance on a D1 team – at some point I would like to travel all 50 states
Favorite High School Memory- Miss D’s algebra 2 class with all my friends and advanced culinary arts

Favorite High School Memory- My favorite high school memory was winning the Shore Conference for outdoor track, the Vietnam trip, all the tennis matches, and just being with my friends
