Panthers vs. Tom’s River East Raiders

The September 23rd game was a BLOW OUT with a final score of 39-0. The Panthers took down the #1 undefeated Raritan Rockets at Basilone Field. Point Boro’s defensive line put on a show, recording a combined seven sacks and holding the Rockets running back Kerian Falzone to only 50 yards.

The Panther’s offense put on a triple-option clinic with quarterback Matt Oliphant rushing for 174 yards.

Last week, the Panthers beat Toms River East, a 2-2 team, which gave the Panthers some solid power points. The team put on a show for the school’s homecoming, lighting up the scoreboard 56-0. Coach Staub explained, “we had an answer for anything they gave us.”

In the coming weeks, the Panthers will have to prep for the well-rounded Monmouth Regional, which will also be their senior night.
