Lizzy McAlpine, an American singer-songwriter, is releasing her third album, Older, on April 5th, 2024. She released the title track from Older on February 13th, 2024. Lizzy McAlpine has released music since 2019, debuting with “Gone,” released September 1st, 2016.

Lizzy McAlpine last released Five Seconds Flat in 2022, with Older being her first release since then. Two of her most popular songs are “Ceilings” from Five Seconds Flat and “Pancakes for Dinner” from Give Me a Minute. These are her most popular songs because they show her inner emotions, such as how she struggles to confess her true feelings.

Many of her fans are excited about this drop, being the first since 2022, but two students here from Point Boro are especially excited.

“I am so excited! I love all of her past releases, so I just can’t wait for her to knock my socks off,” says senior Lexi Y.

Along with Lexi, MacKenzie W. adds, “I am very excited, I loved ‘Ceilings’ and ‘Doomsday’ and I am hoping her new album has the same vibe.”

As of February 20, 2024, Lizzy has announced her tour; The Older Tour 2024, and will be visiting 13 locations in the United States, nine locations in Europe, and one show in Canada. Although fans are excited about the tour, many are disappointed about the locations of the shows and where McAlpine will not be visiting. There aren’t any Southern tour dates and it is very upsetting for many fans. She has addressed it and said that she has fewer shows for her health.

With that being said, many of her fans are excited about both the album drop and tour.
