Popular country artist Morgan Wallen was arrested around 10:53 pm on April 7th, according to WRKN News. He was arrested on felony charges in Nashville, Tennessee for allegedly throwing a chair from the roof of a Broadway bar. According to reports, there were officers outside of the Chief’s bar when the alleged chair had been thrown from above.
Once the officers and nearby security approached the scene they reported that the 30-year-old singer had been the one responsible. Before Wallen could attest to anything, security reviewed the security cameras, only to see Morgan Wallen actively picking up the chair and throwing it.
After viewing the cameras, Wallen was quickly taken into custody and charged with three counts of reckless endangerment and danger to the public. He was booked into Metro Jail early Monday morning, and released a few hours later. About a week and a half later, after being released, he had publicly accepted responsibility for it.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Wallen said, ”I didn’t feel right publicly checking in until I made amends with some folks. I’ve touched base with Nashville law enforcement, my family, and the good people at Chief’s. I’m not proud of my behavior, and I accept responsibility.’’
Even after his arrest, Wallen was still allowed to go back out on the continuation of his One Night at a Time stadium tour. His court date is on May 3rd, during a three-night stint at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium.

Of course he was allowed to go back out and play his scheduled tour dates, why wouldn’t he be? He made an over $15,000 bond to get out on 4 felony charges and 1 misdemeanor charge. MetroNashville police could have charged him with all misdemeanor charges, that’s what the incident normally would have been. The thing is misdemeanors didn’t carry the $15,000 bond the felony charges do. I think that says it all folks.

Temper tantrums and chair throwing is expensive. If he’s trying to make a name by being the rowdy boy like George Jones, Waylon Jennings etc., forget it kid, he’s not qualified to stand in Waylon’s or George’s shadow.
